CAPACITY: 14 Cars 190 passengers
GENERAL INFO: The MV Lochnevis has gave the Small Isles a new life. She is the first ever vessel to serve the Islands that has been able to carry vehicles, call at the piers on each of the islands and provide a reliable service. A small, state of the art vessel, the Lochnevis was launched at Ailsa Troon in May 2000 and entred service 6 months later. She wasn't able to call at all of the piers origininally, but the piers were all ready by 2003 and vehicles were finally able to go to the islands. In the summer months, Lochnevis focuses solely on the Small Isles route but in the winter also covers the route to Sky, providing a morning sailing and an evening sailing, with her Small Isles sailing in between. Lochnevis has been a very succesfull vessel and is well liked by those who use her.
